Why Super 8?
Super 8 captures light on real motion-picture film, giving every frame its natural grain, softness, and movement.
With only a few minutes available on each roll, filming becomes intentional. One roll holds about three minutes, so every shot is chosen.
Super 8 has no sound — your film is cut to music, so it plays back like a memory, not a recording.
The people behind the camera
We’re Anastasia and Ivan. We met in film school, fell in love, and have been creating together ever since.
We’ve spent years collecting vintage cameras and filming our own lives. The excitement of seeing our film come back from the lab never gets old.
We started Super 8 Memory Films because we wanted to share that experience with others.
Anastasia handles the filming and creative direction on set. Ivan brings everything together through editing, color, and post-production. Every film is something we create together.
